I really doubt that as a Operations Manager of Senior Management, my manager don’t even know what is organization chart or company structure, KPI and PA.
The most ridiculous part is she told me I as a manager, I do not need to know who is my CEO and the company structure, all I need to know is I’m reporting to KL, KL reporting to her, and do my job, that‘s all! If referring to her statements, I totally have rights to suspect that my company is an illegal company. I have never seen any company practicing such rules before and not letting every employee to understand the background of company.
When I heard that I was extremely disappointed as I could not believed that such statements would come out from a Singaporean who is handling the Operations. It’s truly a shame for not only company but Singaporean.
