最近在吉隆坡买了颗水晶却不知什么名堂！

几年前，我吩咐了水晶阿姨帮我找五角黄水晶，但她找不到。没想到几年后我还是回到了同一档的水晶单位，购买了这颗似发晶又似黄水晶的水晶。

在我身边的朋友也不知道它的名堂。就算到水晶及天珠店询问，也没人懂。

几天后， Nic告诉我这水晶是源自黄宝石(Topaz)家族。经在网上查证后，发现我的水晶是帝黄玉，英文名称叫Imperial Topaz。产量大多于巴西。

一种具有美丽金黄一橙黄色的黄玉，是黄玉中最珍贵的品种。1981年，在美国市场上一颗重3克拉的帝黄玉，标价为800美元。巴西的米纳斯吉拉斯是帝黄玉的主要产地。单晶一般长1～4厘米，直径0．5～1厘米，但多裂纹，故磨制后的宝石较小。美国华盛顿斯密逊博物馆藏有一颗巴西产的帝黄玉，重93．6克拉。


Imperial Topaz

I bought a long shape crystal pendant in KL.

I never thought that few years ago, I was asking auntie based at the counter in BB Plaza to look for a pentagon yellow crystal pendant for me, unfortunately she could not find it. Few years later, I’m back to the counter but bought this long crystal which is rarely seen in market.

At first none of my friend knows which gene this crystal belonged to as it’s very rare. Even I and my friends have been to many crystal and Dzi shops to check out its origin, but none of them able to tell us what this crystal is.

Until last few days, Nic told me that mine crystal is one of the members of Topaz. I search through the internet, eventually I found out that this crystal is named Imperial Topaz, majorities are mined in Brazil, and it can be classified as yellow stone as well.
