With the space of 3300 square feet, at the Centre Atrium of Queensbay Mall at Penang Island, I was nervous and afraid that I might not be able to plan and implement the whole project efficiently. I do not possess excellent and professional skills in organizing the events; I only can apply my common sense and all theoretical methods into it.

In the progression of the event, before and after the setup, we still are facing a lot of problems. The layout plan keep changing, treadmills was overloaded, lack of manpower, insufficient space (due to too much of treadmills), different ideas and etc. Although we have finalized the layout plan at 6pm but during the display arrangement, the display has been changed for at least 5 times. When we eventually finalized the display, it was 5 am.

Many will think that in fact it should be easier as there are so many brains functioning during the setup, but because of too many “processors” processing a program, it crashing and lead to suspension. On top of that, my “processor” is not processing one program but two. Besides the fair at Queensbay Mall, I was handling another new products launching project which is 700 square feet at Sunway Carnival Mall. In fact the problems over there are much more compare to Queensbay Mall but luckily my colleagues is an experienced “old bird”, she is able to arrange the display, while I just supporting her as much as I could over the phone.

Majority of shoppers are expecting to see Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng attend the event but unfortunately he need to go down to KL for Government matters.

On the launching date, My CEO Jimmy Lim, Government Executive Danny Law, model Samantha Tan Yen Lee and other Dato also attend the ceremony. Another guest would be our latest spokesperson also the Champion of "So You Think You Can Dance" Malaysian Version Muhamad Haslam Abdul Rahman Rubaee or better known as Alam. He is performing during the events, I love his breakdance!


I knew that I’m yet to be good in organizing, but this event is truly a great education and experience for me. The pleasure, the success and the satisfaction, all are hardly described by words.

Overall, marks for myself 70 out of 100, marks for this event 85 out of 100.

Watching this movie, I have made 2 First achievements.

This is the first movie I watched in Sunway Carnival Mall and also the first time watched with my dear (Oooppsss… I just officially attached on 22 April 2008 12.00am)

The title for this movie is highly matched with the story line. As for the Chinese title 功夫之王, it’s focusing on both J instead of the story line. If you directly translate the Chinese title, it would be “King of Kung Fu”, while direct translation for English title to Chinese would be 禁城.

In fact I did not expect much from this movie as I know the story line would be just normal and funny. The biggest contribution would be the casts, starring Jet Li and Jackie Chan, Michael Angarano and together with 2 Chinese ladies, Li Bing Bing and Liu Yi Fei.

It’s about the golden staff has found this Boston teenager Michael Angarano to be the Seeker to free the Monkey King. The journey to the forbidden kingdom “Five Elements Mountain” was not easy as they are being attacked severally by Jade Warriors and White-hair Assassin Li Bing Bing. In order for Michael to safe his Drunken Immortal master Jackie Chan, he is dare enough to upfront with Jade Warlord and battle against White-hair Assassin just to get the “Elixir of Immortality”. And of course Michael was defeated but Monk Jet Li and Golden Sparrow Liu Yi Fei were there on time to battle against enemies.

Before the closing, “appearance” of Jackie Chan would back to the climax again. None of us realized that the old man of the thrift store appeared when the movie started is actually played by him. Could it be the lighting? Good works!

I’m struggling lately. Why? Thanks to chickenpox for leaving such a nice “footprint” on my face!

I’m thinking all day and night, trying to figure out what are the best and fastest solutions that could heal the scars. By using SK-II Facial Essence Treatment, Forever Living products, Garnier products, Lancome Spot Clearing Essence or Neutrogena Pore Refining Series?

Instead of keep on scratching my head, I googling “Healing chickenpox scars” and find that Vitamin E is the best solution. Honey is good for minimized the pores but not suitable for oily skin, while Aloe Vera is great for deep scars.

Thus in the end, I decided to buy oral and external use Vitamin E oil and Forever Living products for faster and better result.

Recently I bought a pair of shoes named BRETT from ALDO before I fell sick.

Yes, I know, again. This is the fourth pair within 6 months.

In fact, this is a gift that I’m rewarding myself for successfully left my previous employer and got a new job. I know it is a waste of money but my interest towards fashion is still passionate and never stop. It could be a motivation for me as well.

I thought I could wear it too but unfortunately… I’m sick…

What should I reward myself if I’m fully recovered from chickenpox?

大多数槟城人的梦想之家都希望拥有洋房。但我知道我的头有多大，所以短期内并不期望那么高。

几个星期前我有看过几间屋子，虽然是永久地契但是因为屋龄超过四十年，所以需要大装修。我比较喜欢新的房子，旧房子那么多年了，根本不能确定它是否干净。更何况在槟岛想要买一间一千二百方尺的单层排屋需要四百千令吉。

《春季》还没推出前，我早就看中它和《夏日村》，两个计划都是坐落在日落洞高速公路旁。我比较喜欢《春季》的外貌及室外设计。外貌设计是Y形，所以全部单位都是面向海。

我最喜欢的单位是G形。四间房，很适合我们一家人。能不能拥有它，就要看八月份了。

Of course majority citizen like Penangites would prefer the best such as bungalow or landed property as their dream home. But I know my limitation, so I do not expect much within a short period.

For past few weeks, I have eyed few landed properties, though its freehold but renovation is indeed due to the age of more than 40 years. To be frank, I would prefer a brand newly built house rather than ages one, because we do not know what had happened to that house before :x Besides, in Penang Island, the possibility of getting a landed house is very lower now. Make sure you have at least RM400K just to own 1200sq.ft. single storey terrace house.

Before The Spring Condominium has been introduced, I had eyed on it and The Summer Place Condominium, both also located along Jelutong Expressway. I would prefer The Spring due to the unique layout and floor plan. The layout of the condominium is in Y shape, which makes all the units become seaview.

I like Type G the most; it has 4-bedroom which is fulfilling our requirements. But I still have to wait until August only will know whether I’m eligible to be the owner.
